There are many things that are “amazing” about Thailand – be it the warmth and friendliness of the Thais or the super hot food. No less astonishing is the economic development in Thailand, especially in the field of electronics production. This is also underlined by the annual NEPCON Thailand trade fair. Kurtz Ersa Asia has been participating for many years in cooperation with the local representative Long Shine. All products were available to customers in detail on a virtual basis at the well-organised trade fair stand. The innovative market innovations in selective soldering aroused particular interest – such as the VERSAFLEX module, which stands for maximum flexibility and productivity.

At the same time, many customer discussions reflected the topic of Industry 4.0. Ersa is also state of the art in this megatrend and delivers technologically leading software applications, interfaces and customer-specific solutions. In the current extremely dynamic economic situation, delivery times are becoming an increasingly important factor, especially in SMT production. Due to the global orientation of Kurtz Ersa, the reflow systems of the HOTFLOW 3 series can be manufactured directly in Asia for the Asian market. This creates a win-win situation for customers and Kurtz Ersa: shorter delivery times on the one hand, faster start of production on the other. After three successful days at the fair, Ulrich Dosch, Key Account Manager Kurtz Ersa Asia, sums up as follows: “The high quality of the trade visitors and a large number of concrete project discussions underline the trend of a strongly growing economy in Southeast Asia, especially in Thailand.”
