ASIA Sales Meeting in Shanghai

The ASIA Sales Meeting (ASM) took place in the expanded Shanghai application center from 28 to 30 November 2016. While the past meeting was held in Shenzhen the participants travelled to Shanghai this year. The Asian sales network of Ersa has been existing for over 25 years in some countries, and everyone was glad to meet in the Chinese industry metropolis. The latest trends and developments in electronics production were discussed with colleagues from Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan and from the Philippines – and the current machine types and rework systems were presented in detail.

Ersa grows by more than 20 percent in Asia as well; nearly 200 reflow soldering systems left the Zhuhai factory in 2016. Given this success, the exchange of information between our agents is even more important, as our customers are often international companies with locations in several countries. Bernd Schenker, COO of Ersa Asia, and his team guided through the program of the sales meeting. In addition, Ersa Vice President and General Sales Director Rainer Krauss presented the Ersa Roadmap 2017–2019. Once more, the ASM was a very successful event – all participants expect further strong growth in 2017. The next ASIA Sales Meeting will be held in the Japanese capital Tokyo in 2017.
