CEIA Seminar 2018 in Shanghai

In 2018, the CEIA Seminar (China Electronics Intelligent Automation Seminar) will be held for the 23rd time – jointly organized by CEIA Association Office, CEPREI Lab and the Shanghai SMT Committee. These seminars take place in several central production locations, and the response from large companies and proven electronics experts is correspondingly high.

The most recent seminar took place on 19 July 2018 in Shanghai station and was attended by around 350 participants. In addition to automatic rework, the presentation “Discovery of automatic Rework System” explained hybrid heating technology, Dip&Print technology and related advantages. “We also presented the DNA of the Ersa rework system – which includes the flattop profile, true closed-loop control and a visible rework process,” said Ulrich Dosch, Manager Key Accounts & Business Development Kurtz Ersa Asia. An Ersa rework system HR 600/2 and an i-CON VARIO 4 soldering and desoldering station were exhibited in the immediate vicinity of the lecture hall. During the coffee break one quickly got into conversation with potential customers and discussed requirements, processes and ideas intensively. Many participants of the meeting were potential customers and decision-makers, so that many concrete inquiries could be taken along from the discussions, which soon will become real projects.
