Fort Worth, Texas – 21.12.2021 | Kurtz Ersa, Inc. has expanded its activities in North America with a new demo and technology center in Fort Worth, USA. Kurtz Ersa, Inc. was founded in 1981 as a subsidiary for the sales and service of soldering systems, particle foam systems and foundry machinery.

To mark the occasion, an official opening ceremony was held on December 8 in Fort Worth, Texas, where the Ersa team joined regional and international customers and partners to open the new more than 450 m2 building. Numerous Ersa soldering systems were showcased in the new demonstration rooms - from the new i-CON TRACE IoT soldering station to the industry-proven VERSAFLOW 3 selective soldering system, providing opportunities for in-depth discussions and live demonstrations.

The event continued on December 9 with a technology day for customers and partners led by Joe Clure (Head of Applications) and Todd DeZwarte (KEI Sales Manager, Rework Inspection and Tools). Attendees were treated to hands-on training and seminars on the following topics: Improving the Selective Soldering Process, Design Considerations for Successful Use of a Dip Soldering Process and Rework of BGAs.

"With the new Fort Worth office, we are able to move more quickly in the local market - with strong regional service from our English and Spanish speaking colleagues. We are very excited to celebrate the opening of our newest office. Without the support of our global partners and customers, the 2021 expansion would not have been possible," said Kurtz Ersa, Inc. chief executive Albrecht Beck.
