The company Smans in Belgium is the successful Ersa agent in the Benelux for Machines and Tools since 2001. The company yearly organises an in-house show in their building in Turnhout which is in the north of Belgium and is easily accessible for the customers from both the Netherlands and Belgium. This year they invited their key suppliers in the electronic business to put the machines in working condition in the Smans showroom from 7th to 9th June so that the visiting customers can see how the machines really work. Machines from Ersa, Hanwa, Europlacer, Asscon, Essegi, PVA and others were available for customer demos.

Ersa supported this Open House with the selective soldering systems VERSAFLOW 4/55 and SMARTFLOW 2020, a stencil printer VERSAPRINT S1-3D, the hybrid rework system HR 600/2 and the inspection system ERSASCOPE 2. Frank Kappel, Andreas Beem, Stefan Brauner and Tom Berx from Ersa were present to operate the machines, inform and discuss with the customers about their applications. Spread over the three days about 70 people from 40 different companies in the business visited the Open House and on Wednesday evening there was a “Family evening” so that also the families of the Smans employees could see what their family members are doing every day. As always, the Smans organisation was very excellent with nice catering and everybody could taste the famous Belgian Beers and Fries.

Smans-Ersa is the leading soldering supplier in the Benelux market and we are convinced that we will receive multiple orders in the next couple of months from projects discussed during the Open House show.
