Wertheim, October 14, 2016

Ersa, Europe’s largest manufacturer and the market leader in many fields of soldering technology, had invited its worldwide sales organizations for their “International Sales Meeting”, which was held on Oct. 10–13. From Scandinavia to Australia, from Chile over to Japan – around 80 international sales partners accepted the invitation and came to Ersa’s headquarter in Wertheim. Also in attendance were representatives from the Kurtz Ersa subsidiaries in China, France, Mexico and the USA.

With a tightly scheduled  and attractive program, this specialist for electronics production equipment presented,  over the three days, new products and systems from the fields of hand soldering, rework, wave, reflow and selective soldering as well as stencil printers, all of which could be tried out and tested in hands-on sessions. Aside from exchanging information about the newest technological developments, common strategies for the partners also were developed and agreed upon. These will allow Ersa to continue the tradition of providing the best solutions to its worldwide customers. A clear signal was also sent to all present – the successful Ersa “Festival of Innovations” will seamlessly continue in 2017!

For the excellent cooperation right around the globe, all sales partners received during a festive evening event their personal Ersa Partner certificate. On top of this, a German-Finnish anniversary could be celebrated: Ekval Oy, located in the vicinity of Helsinki, is Ersa’s sales partner for 30 years, and Tobias van Rossem, the area sales manager responsible for Finland, presented to Ekval’s product manager Pekka Saastamoinen a commemorative shake-hands figure.

“Ersa will be 95 years old this year – and it is in motion as never before. By the end of the year, we will have manufactured and delivered more than 700 systems and 200 rework stations – this is owed to the global, cooperative team performance, which puts us again on the road to a substantial increase in sales in 2016”, states Ersa Director of Sales Rainer Krauss. Despite their extensive “daily chores” during the meetings, the Ersa family had enough energy left over to party together in the evening. In the end, everyone was happy with the successful event, and we all are looking forward to the next date when we meet again, which will already be in 2017.
