Sibiu/Timisoara (Romania), 11.10.2018

Every two years the Romanian company EEE invites its business partners to the “EEE – Ersa” seminar to report on current machine trends, techniques and concepts. The event took place on two days in hotels – once in Sibiu, then in Timisoara. In his capacity as “Capital Equipment” managing director and one of the owners of the EEE Group, Ioan Oprisiu welcomed a total of 80 visitors over the two days – and was very impressed with the quality, as almost all of them were process technologists and decision-makers from well-known companies such as Jabil, Flex, Continental, Bosch, Celestica and Zollner.

A mix of process technology and machine features was presented. The event, which was designed for Ersa, was supported by the new representatives for Fritsch and SCS. The most important partner of EEE in Romania is clearly Ersa GmbH and so Ersa salesman Tom Berx opened with the presentation of new trends and features in the soldering process and their implementation in the VERSAFLOW (selective) and POWERFLOW (wave) series. The entertaining lecture was followed by presentations from Fritsch and SCS. The morning was filled, but there was still enough time during the coffee breaks to discuss current projects and processes. After the lunch break – in the morning the THT process (through hole technology) had been illuminated – it was the turn of the SMT process (surface mount technology) in the second part. Wolfram Hübsch, Ersa Product Manager Printer, spoke about the zero-defect strategy in the SMT process and especially in the area of stencil printers. The seminar ended with the reflow process presented by Tom Berx. Ersa is represented in Romania by the EE Group Timisoara, founded in 1991 as a trading company with three different divisions and responsible for machines and tools. Ersa Area Sales Manager Tom Berx and Ioan Oprisiu were very satisfied with the two days as they offered numerous opportunities to exchange experiences and discuss new projects.
