Especially during rush hours, countless motorized scooters wind their way through the narrow streets of Hanoi Old Town – here, in the center of the Vietnamese capital, is the largest regional exhibition hall, where NEPCON Vietnam 2019 took place. Not only the driving behavior of the Vietnamese can be described as dynamic, but also the annual growth rate of the gross domestic product: about seven percent! Following the strategic decision to establish a local subsidiary in Vietnam, system supplier Ersa is now participating in the strong growth.

This presence is also underlined by one of the Ersa fair claims: “We are here! ... in Vietnam!”. This highlights the proximity to customers, which is particularly important in the consulting and service process for technically high-quality machines and products. On all three days Ersa experts brought the different soldering technologies closer to the numerous visitors at the booth. Especially the SMT solutions from Ersa like the reflow soldering system HOTFLOW 3/20 and the stencil printers VERSAPRINT 2 met with great interest. In addition, many system solutions in the field of selective soldering and wave soldering were discussed. Even though the degree of automation is continuously increasing, manual production is still common in Vietnam, so many discussions focused on the Ersa hand soldering and rework stations. “NEPCON offers an excellent platform for making contact with a large number of customers. In addition, we have created a great opportunity in Vietnam to present and test detailed solutions in our application center in Ho Chi Minh, which is a real added value for our customers,” summarises Ulrich Dosch, Manager Business Development, at the end of a successful trade fair.
