Assmy & Böttger Electronic GmbH, also called A+B Electronic, based in Huntlosen, Germany, is an international supplier of system solutions in the fields of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace, security technology as well as medical technology. Reliability, flexibility and maximum precision during the manufacturing process are therefore of particular importance in order to be a strong technology partner and guarantee high-quality products.

In 2013, the company decided to purchase an Ersa VERSAFLOW 3/45, followed four years later by a POWERFLOW N2. The satisfaction with the Ersa products and the associated service is shown by the fact that from July 2019 an additional selective soldering machine as well as a stencil printer will support the production in Huntlosen: The Ersa VERSAFLOW 4/55 is a selective soldering machine of the latest product generation and ensures a flexible production process with two soldering modules. The integrated CAD 4 Assistant also enables the soldering programs to be created offline, so that the products can be changed more quickly.

A+B Electronic has additionally acquired the highlight among the Ersa stencil printers: the VERSAPRINT 2 Ultra3, the world´s first stencil printer with integrated 3D inspection. Jörg Kiehnscherf and Manfred Hartwig, Managing Directors at A+B Electronic, as well as Ersa Sales Manager Stefan Wurster and Ersa General Sales Manager Rainer Krauss (from left) took the opportunity of the meeting at SMTconnect in Nuremberg to celebrate the good cooperation over the past six years and the further expansion of the business relationship.
