Chip

A chip is the heart of each integrated circuit. Chips come in different forms and functions. The 3 most important and best known chips are the logic chip (a processor, for example), storage chip and the digital-analog converter. A chip can contain millions of circuits and itches such as resistors and transistors, and can have a physical size of between 0,2 mm² and 200 mm². A termination in pins is common to all chips.
