Dispenser

A dispenser is a device to dose reproducibly both liquid and pasty process media. In the electronic industry, dispensers are frequently used to apply, either manually or automated, fluxes, solder pastes glue, cover material etc. A distinction is made between simple pressured air and volumetric dispensers. Pressurized air dispensers force the media out of the cartridge via a short pressurized air impulse. Repeatability of the volume dispensed is not given, since with a decreasing fill level of the cartridge the air volume increases and a impulse of pressurized air will deliver less medium. Volumetric dispenser, on the other hand, deliver repeatedly the same volume, regardless of the fill level of the cartridge. The delivery of the media is performed by the stroke of a piston or by worm screws.
