Thermocouple
Sheathed thermocouples are best suitable to record elevated temperatures. They are used primarily in industrial and equipment manufacturing, because they exhibit high mechanical strength. They can be sued to measure temperatures in gaseous or liquid mediums. Since they are worked into fire-resistant magnesium oxide, they are able to tolerate high pressures, vibrations and shocks. In the area of soldering, they are used to record length- and cross profiles in soldering systems.
