Wetting
Ability of a metal to react with liquid soft solder, by forming an intermetallic compound layer (Cu3Sn close to the copper base material and Cu3Sn5 on the solder side of the connection). With solders on tin-basis, only the tin is involved in this reaction, the other components do not participate.
