Zero Defect Policy

Implementing a zero-defect policy is a method of quality assurance with the goal to prevent the occurrence of any defect in the manufacturing process of a product. It is the tenet of this strategy to detect possible errors before they occur. In a manufacturing department, the adherence to this philosophy tends to be very time involved and costly, since the complete factory environment as well as all peripheral conditions need to be considered when implementing these quality assurance measures.
