New Kurtz system for remote production monitoring

Kurtz Central Management 4.0 will soon become indispensible to the modern production manager. Whether on a business trip, between two meetings or en route to call on a customer – Kurtz Central Management 4.0 reports on all the problems which occur in production. The system shows every machine in the production hall which has previously been added to the system database; machine data is constantly transferred. From the current machine status to the optimum specified values, which are compared with the actual values. Critical alarms, for example machinery downtime, are indicated by a flashing red light – the sign for the production manager that immediate action is required. Central Management 4.0 therefore restricts machinery downtime to a minimum, production becomes more efficient. The values determined are collected according to the big data schema and subsequently analysed.
Customers from the particle foam machine sector benefit from a range of advantages when using the Kurtz Central Management 4.0, for example improved machine control, monitoring and optimising of the production processes, enhanced quality, energy saving and the digital recording of all process data for later analysis. Via a web server, the customer can view the actual status of their factories and plants at any time and all over the world. The production management system is based on continuous communication between the machines. This could be realised by creating a common interface for all the different machines such as shape moulding machines and pre-expanders as well as the master computer. This receives the machine data, analyses it continuously and returns new instructions to the machine – almost in real time!
